The Information Age has rendered boundaries that were once solid, porous; such shifting awarenesses open great territories of potential for an instigator of multiples like myself. In the spirit of porousness, I work across disciplinary boundaries in a variety of media—often in combination with one another.
I’m one part artist, one part educator, one part curator, and one part poetic activist. My creative research focuses on printmedia as the graphic science of democracy—a tool that fosters community building and information sharing to create new socio-political ecologies. I investigate ways that feasibility, sustainability, and venture creation are the natural outgrowths of an ethical printmaking, grassroots-run, people-powered society.
By keeping a rigorous curatorial research practice, I have developed numerous opportunities to invite nationally and internationally acclaimed artists to exhibit and participate in numerous community events in person and online. Such projects allow me to craft thought-provoking exhibitions while generating multiple community outreach opportunities, visibility, and artistic collaborations.
